NWFP Information Department established Media Centre at the office of DCO Swat wherein briefing to journalists on important issues will be given. Director Information Faridullah Khan and other officers of the department held meetings with DCO Swat, DIG Swat and other high-ranking authorities and selected site for Media Centre in Swat.
Media Centre has started functioning on acting basis wherein district administration of Swat will provide various information in form of press note, handouts and press releases to local, national and international newspapers and news agencies.
