The Speaker National Assembly Chaudhry Amir Hussain has said that government is attaching top priority for the welfare of the masses and using huge funds on reducing poverty, unemployment and vanishing backwardness from the country. The government has already initiated concrete measures to cope with these challenges on war footings.
Addressing a public meeting in adjoining village Pindi Panjoran after inaugurating the Sui gas pipeline laying, he added that development of ignored and less developed areas was top on the agenda of government aimed at bringing these areas at par with the developed parts of the country.
For the first time in the history of the country the provision of Sui gas, electricity, telecommunication, health, education and means of communication had been ensured in remote and totally neglected rural and urban areas and its credit goes to Pakistan Muslim League-Q government, he said.
Chaudhry Amir Hussain further stated that the step has been taken for changing the destiny of rural population living in far-off and ignored areas as well as improving their lifestyle in the country. The Speaker National Assembly Choudary Amir Hussain pointed out that due to the strong and far-reaching economic and business-friendly polices of the government, Pakistan become an attractive hub of foreign investment as a result of which foreign investors are showing their keen interests in investing in Pakistan.
The national economy had not only become stable but the growth rate of development had become higher besides the government had already initiated various mega projects in various parts of the country for further accelerating the pace of economic activities and for generating employment opportunities, he said. The impact of completion of these mega projects would create far-reaching results on national economy as a result of which Pakistan would enter in the ambit of developed nations, he added.
On this occasion people appreciated the steps taken by the government for maintaining law and order as well as ensuring the protection of the life of the people in the country.
