Punjab Minister for Information Technology Abdul Aleem Khan said that a project of water supply has been completed on which Rs 68.5 million were spent out of special uplift package of the Punjab Chief Minister in Lahore City, PP-147 where replacement of pipes was also made.
He said this while addressing nazims, councillors and party workers of the Union Council 75 here on Friday. Khan said different schemes of Rs 80 million had already been completed in the areas of Bibi Pak Daman, Gosht market, Railway Colony and adjacent areas.
"Many projects of Rs 4 million were completed as well as water supply and sewerage plans of Rs 8.2 million have also been completed" he added. He said that apart from this development, the government has already provided extensive jobs to the youth and youngsters of PP-147, which have been adjusted in different departments.
