Lawyers Forum of Pakistan Muslim League (N), have made a representation to PML (N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif asking for participation in the forthcoming elections. According to PMLLF sources here, the representation was signed by 300 lawyers.
"It has been demanded that PML (N) should take part in the next elections with one point agenda, the restoration of all the judges of Supreme Court and High Courts to November 2 position".
The lawyers said, "We fully realise noble intentions in deciding to boycott the elections". However, they said as certain parties have decided to go ahead with the elections, it would be better to fully participate in the elections while maintaining the demand of "reinstatement of the judiciary" as it stood on November 2.
