The officials of Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized 890 kg of hashish and arrested an alleged drug trafficker along with a vehicle at Uthal Check Post on RCD Highway in Balochistan. This announcement to this effect was made in a PCG statement issued here on Monday.
It said that the PCG officials during a routine checking intercepted a Mazda truck and on checking recovered 890 kg of hashish contained in 798 packets hidden in secret cavities of the vehicle.
The statement further said that the drug trafficker was also apprehended who was transporting the consignment from Quetta to Karachi. Further investigation is underway by the PCG special investigating team, it was further stated.
