The Provincial Election Commission has devised a plan to set up 251 polling stations for NA-269 Khuzdar, PB-33 Khuzdar-I (Zehri), PB-34 Khuzdar-II (Naal) and PB-35 Khuzdar-III (Wadh) constituencies for elections.
As many as 190513 registered voters would exercise their right of franchise to elect their representative for NA-269 constituency. Total population of Khuzdar district is 409504, according to 1998 census.
A total of 59547 registered voters including 32253 men and 27294 women would cast their votes for PB-33 Khuzdar-I (Zehri) constituency. As many as 77036 registered voters including 42246 men and 34790 women would exercise their right of franchise to elect their representative for PB-34 Khuzdar-II (Naal) constituency.
A total of 53930 registered voters including 32472 men and 21458 women would use their right of franchise for electing their representative for PB-35 Khuzdar-III (Wadh) constituency. All necessary arrangements will soon be finalised for holding elections for these constituencies. The Provincial Election Commission will establish 251 polling stations for the constituencies of National and Balochistan Assemblies in the district.
