Syed Masood Hashmi, newly elected Vice President of Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi has expressed thanks and gratitude to the writers, poets, artistes, intellectuals and all those associated with fine arts for their support to elect him second time.
He assured to come up to the expectations of the members of Arts Council who have reposed their trust and confidence in him. He promised to serve with the same devotion and dedication with which he had served the Arts Council during his previous tenure. He also thanked his colleagues and the media. Mohammad Ahmed Shah newly elected Secretary, said that the way his supporters in the Arts Council have strived for his success has placed a heavy responsibility on his shoulders.
He vowed to fulfil all his promises. He emphasised that great success of Hashmi Panel has further strengthened their resolve. Newly elected Treasurer, Mahmood Ahmed Khan assured to complete all the ongoing projects. He assured to continue to work with the same sense of commitment as they had done the last year. Saif-ur-Rehman Grami said the way the members have extended their whole hearted support to him has boosted his morale further.-PR
