The Allama Niaz Fatehpuri Memorial Lecture 2007 will be held on December 27 at the NIPA Auditorium here. An announcement on Monday said that the men of letters from within the city and outside would attend.
It said that the event is being held under the auspices of the Halqa Niaz-o-Nigar Karachi in collaboration with the Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and the Anjuman Tarrqai-e-Urdu. Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmed, Rector of Islamic University, Islamabad, will be the keynote speaker on the occasion.
