Benazir promises to eliminate unemployment, poverty

PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto has said that PPP after coming into power, would work for elimination of unemployment and poverty. Addressing a public meeting here on Monday, she assured to provide the masses with health, education and other basic facilities and work for agricultural and economic uplift of the country.
Benazir Bhutto alleged that PML-Q has apprehended its defeat in the election that is why it is resorting to unfair means to win the polls. She demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to set up the polling stations in the local schools and government buildings and give an end to improvised (tent) polling stations in the country and restrict the appointment of volunteers on the polling booths.
