PIA domestic and international flight operations on Saturday resumed at all stations without cancellation - except minor delays, says a Press Release. Minor delays were experienced due to late reporting of passengers, crew and staff on duty because of logistical/transport related snags in Karachi and elsewhere, the release said.
In case of minor delays for operational reasons the valued passengers have been/are being accommodated on immediate next flights through change of aircraft, it added.
It said that all PIA flight operations originating from Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Karachi reported no cancellation - except minor delays on Saturday. However, one Hajj flight PK-3020 arriving from Jeddah and destined to Quetta was diverted to Karachi because of evening visibility problem at Quetta airport. The passengers were taken care of in terms of transit facilities, and would soon be despatched to Quetta next morning, the release added.
PIA's valued passengers are requested to recheck minor delays (if any) with PIA call centre (111-786-786) for any latest information. Meanwhile inconvenience caused to PIA's valued customers is deeply regretted.-PR
