Security forces early this morning carried out a search operation in Koza Bama Khela area of Matta and arrested 27 militants including two local commanders Naeem and Tooti Khan. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition have also been recovered which include grenades, Kalashnikoves, rifles, pistols, Motorola communication equipment and rounds of different calibre.
These apprehended militants are believed to be close associates of Maulana Fazalullah. Life as a whole remained peaceful in Swat as all the shops and government offices remained open and people were busy in their routine work.
