MARKET ANALYSIS: The national currency lost major grounds against the US dollar in the open market amid sharp rise in demand of dollar. The US currency opened new day's trading at Rs 61/45, continued to gain grounds and changed hands at Rs 61/50 at close of markets on Friday. Thus, rupee ended another day on a negative note verus dollar.
