Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf activists held a demonstration outside the Lahore Press Club on Saturday to protest the incessant power cuts and the wheat flour shortages. Led by Tehreek's Youth Wing local leaders, the party activists gathered outside the club and chanted anti-government slogans.
They criticised the government over load shedding, shortage of flour and increasing dearness. While talking to the reporters, president PTI Youth Wing Lahore Dr Muhammad Atif and senior vice president of Tehreek-e-Insaf Lahore Haroon Rasheed blamed President Pervez Musharraf for the current political uncertainty, saying the country's economy was suffering because of the government's ineptness failing to chalk out an emergency plan. They said that their struggle would continue till the restoration of judges and establishment of democracy in the country.
