Like other parts of the country the people of Kamra are also feeling the heat the current flour crisis. The political and social circles of Kamra in a joint statement said that on one side the former PML-Q government had been claiming that the country's economy had improved and the status of common man had been raised, but on the other the people were being confronted by sever flour shortage.
They said Pakistan is an agricultural country but despite the fact prices of Atta and other edibles, including pulses, vegetables and fruits are beyond the access of a common man.
They said as the prolonged load shedding and low pressure of gas have already made the life of people miserable the current Atta crisis had added to their miseries.
The political and social circles of the area demanded of the government to ensure availability of flour in the market at the fixed prices so that the poor segment of the society could also keep their soul and body together. They also called upon the people to reject those elements in polls, who are responsible for current flour crisis and skyrocketing hike in prices of essential commodities.
