AIOU final exams to begin from January 10

According to new schedule issued by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), the final examinations for Semester spring 2007 would be started from Thursday. The final examinations of AIOU from Matric to Ph.D level for the said Semester were postponed due to Liaquat Bagh tragic incident and national elections, said the spokesman of the university.
He said that AIOU has issued new dates for the conduct of these examinations and according to new schedule, now the exams would start from January 10 and would continue till January 24, 2008. Moreover, the students can obtain the schedule of the examination from the university website:, www.aiou.edu.pk. The spokesman said that students can also download their roll number slips and date sheets from the website, which would be acceptable in the examination room.
