Directive to ensure regular flour supply

DCO Mianwali has directed flourmill owners and Food department officials to co-ordinate with each other to ensure regular supply of wheat flour to the people. DCO Babar Shafi visited a number of flourmills with Food Department officials, and was briefed on the supply situation.
He said regular supply of wheat flour bags must be ensured at all 33 sale points set up outside Food Department godowns in the district, while a special mobile service should be started to transport the essential commodity for people at the union council level.
He lauded the efforts of the department, and co-operation of the millers, to help overcome the impending flour crisis in the region, and expressed satisfaction on the overall supply situation in the district.
