Workshop on 'Operations Risk Management'

A two-day workshop on "Operations Risk Management" will be held on January 24 and 25 at a local hotel. Participants will be instructed on international best practices in the management of Operations Risk through flow-charting of Ops Risks processes, risk classification and capturing and quantifying risk event losses.
By discussing the advanced approach to Ops Risk and focusing on preventive rather than corrective techniques, the workshop will be of benefit to regulators and to core compliance teams involved in developing action plans for Basel II implementation, in line with the recent directive of BSD, State Bank 'of Pakistan.-PR
