Irsa releases 55,270 cusecs water from reservoirs

Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday discharged 55,270 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Saturday was 69,072 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela dam recorded was 1420.32 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 51 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 19,900 cusecs while outflow was at 12,500 cusecs. The water level at Mangla dam was recorded at 1108.75 feet which was 68 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 12,402 cusecs while outflow was recorded at 6,000 cusecs.
