National security concerns

With the blessings of Almighty Allah, Pakistan is an atomic power. It has the singular distinction of being the only nuclear power of the Islamic world. Somehow, the Western countries and media are showing great concern for the safety of the nukes despite President Pervez Musharraf's repeated statements and assurances that these are in safe and strong hands.
Only the other day, a presidential candidate and former first lady of the USA Hillary Clinton has come out with the suggestion that US-Pakistan should have joint control over Islamabad's nuclear installations for ensuring these do not fall into the hands of some extremist and militant elements.
It seems that the US presidential election are being contested on the basis of which of the candidate places greater pressure on Islamabad in order to get access to the nuclear installations.
The so-called friendly Western countries and their hostile media while expressing concern regarding Pakistan's nuclear installations have overlooked the basic facts that they had not extended any co-operation and assistance whatsoever in Islamabad's becoming a nuclear power.
All efforts and inputs gone into the making of the nukes were purely indigenous. If this is so then how they presume they would give us some suggestion which is detrimental to Pakistan's supreme interests and we would be only too happy and obliged to accept the same since it is coming from one or the other friendly country.
This is absolutely not so. Security concerns of all sorts as well as safety of the nuclear installations are our own national concerns and the whole nation is patriotic, committed and dedicated to preserve and safeguard the national security related establishments and nuclear installations.
If our nuclear scientists have done us proud by turning Pakistan into the Muslim Ummah's first nuclear power then they are with the blessings of Almighty Allah also fully capable of safeguarding their own created atomic facilities.
No foreign power or leader of any friendly country should be bothering about Pakistan's nuclear facilities which have been developed as the minimum defence deterrents and for peaceful purposes and not for aggressive use against anyone.
Such so-called, self-appointed advisors should better refrain from giving unsolicited advises otherwise the people of Pakistan would be forced to presume that the USA, Britain and other countries do not want to see an Islamic country being a nuclear power at all.
