The Lahore High Court (LHC) has delayed a petition till January 22 filed by a policeman challenging orders by his deputy inspector general telling him to retake a test confirming his services. Petitioner Faisal-ur-Rehman told the court he and his colleagues were appointed as mechanics in the Police department after they passed an entry test in 2004.
He said the deputy inspector general had told them to re-sit for the test and issued a show-cause notice. He believes the official's action is illegal.
