Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (Paapam) Chairman Malik Muhammad Aslam has rejected a proposal calling for closure of industries for two days. He warned that if the government approved the proposal, thousands of workers would be jobless.
He demanded that the Prime Minister should turn down the proposal and instead the government should work on short and long-term power generation projects. He blamed the government for the power crisis because he said it had failed to take measures to increase the power generation, nor set their priorities to distribute power properly.
