Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) Punjab Zone, Akbar Sheikh has said that out of 280 member of the association in Punjab Zone, gas supply to only 15 mills was restored from February 1. He said that there was a perception that gas supply to CNG station was cut off to supply gas to Aptma members, which is not true.
'On January 23, 66 members' mills were getting gas supply. After the demand of the Aptma member, supply to 15 mills was restored for 3 days on rotation basis on January 31,' he clarified. He further said that no further improvement has been made in supply of gas to APTMA members since then.
