Concerned Citizen Forum (CCF) took out a protest rally from Nasir Bagh to Lahore High Court here on Saturday and demanded reinstatement of deposed judges and independence of judiciary.
Political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and other members of All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM), lawyers, representatives of civil societies and students were also present in the rally.
While addressing the rally, the speakers said their struggle will continue till the judiciary is restored as it was on November 2, 2007, detained former judges are released and dictatorship is ended.
