United States computer maker Dell Inc said on Friday that it was offering the majority of its consumer personal computers with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Inc chips through retail stores and by phone rather than the Internet.
The company, which said in a statement that it adjusts product offerings regularly, said that one consumer desktop PC with an AMD chip was available on its website, as well as a number of business-focused AMD-powered systems.
