Railways accounts officers moot

Railways Board Member Shaukat Muhammad has praised the performance of his accounts department. He was the chief guest at the concluding session of a two-day conference of accounts officers on Friday where senior officers and divisional accounts officers, deputy financial advisor, F.A & CAO revenue Mubarik Khan and Chief Internal Auditor Allah Baksh Kaliyar were also present.
The main issues included a critical review of rail overdrafts, payment of pension by the National Bank of Pakistan, financial discipline, miscellaneous issues of various divisions and other receivable bills.
