Some 400 cotton bales were gutted as fire erupted at a ginning factory near here late on Sunday night. A fire erupted at Rafiq Cotton factory at Pull Raangu. As a result, some 400 cotton bales, worth over Rs 5 million, were reduced to ashes.
The blaze was brought under control and extinguished by Firebrigade and Rescue 1122. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained. Khanewal Sadar Police is investigating the incident.
