The transmissions of Aaj TV channel on Friday night were suspended throughout the country when its' Bolta Pakistan programme was on air.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bolta Pakistan and talk shows of some other TV channels, which remained off air owning to restrictions on their telecast for several months, were restarted only recently following negotiations between private TV channels and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA).
Cable operators across the country stopped the transmissions of private TV channels on the directive of PEMRA, according to a leading cable service provider, Naya Tel.
