Irrigation department reduces water supply

Irrigation department Multan zone has reduced the supply of water in the canals due to shortage of water in Mangla and Tarbela dams. It is decided to supply the water turn by turn, so that the supply could be continued to the wheat growing areas.
For this purpose the canals are divided into three grades. Firstly the grade 1 canals would be given the supply for 15 days.
