The Karachi Port handled 85,236 tonnes cargo including 29,463 tonnes import, 55,773 tonnes export cargo and 3,875 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 63,886 tonnes dry cargo including 36,084 tonnes general cargo; 2,201 tonnes Canola; 2,611 tonnes Cement; 16,600 tonnes Clinker and 21,350 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Cap Colorado, Apl Sokhna, Royal Queen, Lucky Arrow and Delta Ranger sailed out to sea during the report period. Seven vessels viz Noor-e-Madina, Hyun Jin, Hyundai Highway, Filippa, Faith-1, Capetan Custis and Chemroad Luna are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Noor-e-Madina, Breeze, Hyundai Highway, Morning Glory-III and Filippa expected to sail on Thursday, while five vessels viz Capetan Custis, Faith-1, Malakand, Hyun Jin and Nats Emperor are expected to sail on Friday.
Six vessels viz Oriental Orchid, Hanjin Qinglao, Ninth Ocean, Nord Voyager, Winco Uno and Pacific Arrow due to arrive on Thursday, while eight ships namely Kota Perdana, Harmony, St Irene, Golden Arrow-II, Valbella, Al-Aqeela-II, Carla and Rubia are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 99,289 tonnes comprising 75,795 tonnes import and 23,494 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,563 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 21,848 tonnes Furnace Oil; 1,617 tonnes Diesel Oil; 5,803 tonnes Palm Oil; 16,056 tonnes Wheat; 14,286 tonnes Iron Ore; 5,686 tonnes Rice and 33,993 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV Nedlloyd Asia, Ibn Battotah, Adriatic Wind and Al-Salam-II sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of eight ships namely Maersk Davavo, Salah Al-Deen, Star Gama, Leopard-B, Lotus, Chembulk Singapore and Yanaseni carrying Containers, Wheat, Cement, Crude Oil, Palm Oil and Chemicals respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Nine vessels viz Nedlloyd Asia, Ibn Battotah, Islamabad, Adriatic Wind, Al-Salam-II, Vema Cap, Annoula, Halis Kalkavan and Blumenau were occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Rice, Palm Oil, Wheat, Diesel Oil, Furnace Oil and Iron Ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Four ships namely Salah Al-Deen, Maersk Novazzano, Chembulk Singapore and Yanaseni due to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Thuesday. Nine vessels viz Sima Pars, Lahore Express, Inori, Karvados, Star Gama, Nordmerker, Hellen and Qem Star carrying Containers, Wheat, Diesel Oil, Palm Oil and Chemicals due to arrive.
