Syria's state grain agency has issued a tender to purchase 200,000 tonnes of feed barley and 150,000 tonnes of corn, European traders said on Monday. Shipment for the barley must be eight months after opening of a letter of credit for the successful bidder, and for the corn six months after the letter of credit opening.
Origin for both grains was optional. Yellow corn was sought. The bidding deadline for the barley was March 17 and for the corn March 18.
