The Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) has submitted a comprehensive proposal involving a layout of Rs 126 million to the National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (Nvtec) under which training facilities would be enhanced at the PMTF with the additional areas of gear manufacturing CNG machines, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance etc.
According to the recent bulletin of the State Engineering Corporation, Peco has also decided to restart its technical training centre in view of the expected increase in demand for skilled labour in related trades in the future.
