The Karachi Port handled 97,763 tonnes cargo including 64,582 tonnes import, 33,181 tonnes export cargo and 3,930 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 94,963 tonnes dry cargo including 43,340 tonnes general cargo; 6,967 tonnes Wheat; 20,000 tonnes Coal; 13,120 tonnes Fertiliser; 5,196 tonnes Cement; 6,340 tonnes Clinker and 2,800 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Jurong Bebaru, Filippa and Shaheen Al Ghanim 10 sailed out to sea during the report period. Three vessels viz Hyundai Future, Emirates Wasi and Odigitria are currently at the berths. Four ships namely Don Frane Bulic, Emirates Wasi, Hyundai Future and Zhen Hua-5 expected to sail on Friday, while three vessels viz Hyun Jin Ks-3, Erria Maria and Happy Venture are expected to sail on Saturday.
Seven vessel viz Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, YM Improvement, Kota Puri, Lady Tramp, Eastmed Carrier and Asean Sea-01 due to arrive on Friday, while five ships namely Vema Cape, Bunga Terasek, Maritime Valour, Luck Fortune and Eser Kaptanoglu are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 50,959 tonnes comprising 39,622 tonnes import and 11,337 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,350 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 13,994 tonnes Furnace Oil; 2,999 tonnes Wheat; 8,252 tonnes Iron Ore; 82 tonnes Sulphur; 5,670 tonnes Canola Seeds; 2,037 tonnes Cement and 17,925 tonnes containerised cargo. Two ships namely MV Al-Aqeela and CV Ibn Batouta sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship namely MV Kaghan is expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
A total of seven ships namely Apl Almandine, Maersk Novazzano, Qem Star, Theo-T, African Zebra, Artaki and Nord Vision carrying Containers, Chemicals, Carbon Oil and Wheat respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Ibn Batouta, MV Leopard-B, MV Atlantic, MV Al-Aqeela, MV Yasa Pembe, MT Vanguard Yiking-I and MV Kaghan are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Sulphur, Canola Seeds, Wheat, HSFO and Iron Ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Three vessels viz CV Apl Almandine, CV Maersk Novazzano and MT Qem Star due to take berths at Container Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Friday. Two ships namely Sima Paya and Al-Soor-II carrying Containers and Diesel Oil due to arrive on Friday, while two more container vessels viz MSC Dart Ford and CMA CGM Aegean due to arrive on Saturday. Three ships namely Pontonikis, Yanaseni and Dong Sheng with Wheat, Chemicals and Iron Ore are also due to arrive.
