Pakistan Workers Federation (PWF) has hailed the announcement by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani declaring the increase in minimum wages to Rs 6,000 per month and repeal of anti-labour legislation Industrial Relation Ordinance 2002.
"Establishment of 'National Employment Commission' to ensure increased employment opportunities for the youth and working force in the country is a good step of the new government," said Khurshid Ahmed, general secretary, Pakistan Workers Federation and member ILO governing body here on Saturday.
