Pakistan Steel supplied 20-megawatt electricity to KESC during month of March from its power generation system. Pakistan Steel spokesman said on Friday that following the directions of Pakistan Steel chairman Major General Muhammad Javed (Retd), system improvements were introduced in the electricity generation system of the PS.
He said after these steps, the PS achieved the target of 75-megawatt power generation. He said that in the month of February 2007, 7.25-megawatt electricity was supplied to KESC from the total production 75.53-megawatt. He said that in the month of March 2008, the Pakistan Steel supplied 20-megawatt electricity to KESC from its total production of 102-megawatt.
