Head of Mutahidda Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin has said that Jihad will continue in the Occupied Kashmir until a single Indian soldier is left there.
Addressing a gathering organised by Pakistan-based Kashmiri group Al-Badar Mujahideen here at a mosque on Sunday, he said the Jihad is passing through a sensitive phase because of the traditional supporters turned back and the base camp (Azad Kashmir) closed.
"We, in this gathering, want to convey a message to Kashmiri Muslims that they are not alone but we are with them and will not accept Indian hegemony till the last drop of our blood" he said, adding continuation of Jihad in Kashmir is linked with the survival of Pakistan. "We are ready for dialogue if India agrees to quit Kashmir and to recognise the fundamental rights of Kashmiris", Salahuddin clarified.
He regretted that the Muslim rulers have become the facilitators of the enemy and Muslims have been labelled as terrorists and being handed over to the enemy to receive dollars.
The government, he alleged, has hired some Ulema to issue religious decrees against Jehad and discouraging those who are fighting against the enemy. "We do not care if we are called as terrorists, he vowed.
Syed Salahuddin said few thousands Mujahideen are fighting against seven-and-half lakh Indian troops, saying there are 56 Muslim nations but they are not supporting the Mujahideen in Kashmir, Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and Chechnya.
Chief of al-Badar Mujahideen Bakht Zameen said: "If the new government continued policies of Musharraf rule, it will also lose public support." He said foreign envoys are visiting Pakistan to ask the new government to continue policies of former rulers, adding that they would face the same fate as Musharraf's supporters had faced.
He also condemned the government for welcoming Indian Kashmiri politician Mehbooba Mufti as protocol to her has injured the feelings of those who have rendered sacrifices for Kashmir cause. "We should not welcome traitors", he said and added that Jihad continued despite pressure during the past six years.
He demanded the release of all those arrested in Pakistan for links with Kashmiri Jehad. He said the government has arrested several workers of Al-Badar in recent months.
Representatives of Lashkar-e-Tayyeba, Hizbi Islami (Kashmir) and several other Jehadi groups also addressed the gathering. Earlier, banners with Jihadi writings were displayed at the main hall of the mosque.
The CDs about operations in Afghanistan and Kashmir as well CDs about Iraq and Chechnya as well as books about Jihad were being sold out.
The participants chanted slogans "Our way of Life-Jihad Jihad', 'Allah is Great'.
