A meeting of Executive Committee of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) which met here on Saturday at Sindh High Court Bar Association termed the manhandling of Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi, former minister in President Musharraf's' rule as hand work of establishment.
The meeting earlier reviewed the on going Lawyers movement with particular reference to incidents at Lahore (April 08) and then at Karachi (April 09). It said that this was the third consecutive effort by the conspirators to derail democracy.
The meeting also decided and announced that lawyers of Pakistan will observe April 17 as Martyrs of Karachi day. The meeting also demanded a Judicial Commission to probe the incidents of April 12.
