Anti-Corruption (Mianwali) authorities after a probe have uncovered timber theft and embezzlement of funds through the sale of illegally felled trees in the grounds of DHQ hospital Mianwali. A complaint in this regard was filed with the ACE authorities by Peoples Party leader and social worker, Muhammad Akbar Khan.
The probe revealed that the hospital MS had ordered felling and auction of 219 'dried up' trees on the hospital land, but many more trees were cut and sold on this pretext, and the money was embezzled.
