Five persons were killed and 3 injured in different road accidents here. According to detail a Pick UP bearing registration no. C 5673 which was on its way from Arandu (Pak Afghan border village) to Drosh about 45 KM from here, skidded into a deep ravine while negotiating a turn.
As a result, 4 persons including 2 real brothers were killed on the spot, while 3 persons were seriously injured. Those who lost their lives were identified as Hazrat Bilad and Muhammad Siraj sons of Muhammad Qayyum and residents of Dameel Nisar, Sadiq son of Zaram resident of Dameel Nisar and Muhammad Hazir.
The injured persons included Rahat Eida, Salam Khan and Abdul Razaq. Arandu and Mirkhani police reached the site of the accident and shifted the injured persons to Drosh hospital.
In another road mishap a car which was on its way from Rumboor Kalash valley to Chitral met fatal road accident at Karkordesh Rumboor in which Naseeruddin son of Mubarak resident of Bakamak died on the spot, while 2 others sustained injuries. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
