Mixed trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday where equities showed negative signs under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index was down by 1.29 points from 3,293.76 to 3,292.47 points. The overall turnover stood at 2,196,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,582,300 shares.
Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (75) closed in negative territory, 57 closed in positive territory, whereas one company remained glued to their overnight levels.
The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 414,200 shares as compared to previous turnover of 422,400 shares. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was Rs 290,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was Rs 290,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 707,000 shares.
