The City Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal, on Wednesday visited the houses of April 9 victims, Haji Altaf, Saeed Akhtar and Basit Mahmood and handed over cheques for Rs 0.2 million each to their heirs.
The Nazim presented two cheques for Rs 0.1 million each to Nagina and Shugafta, two widows of Haji Altaf at his residence in Lyari, cheques for Rs 0. 2 million to Farah Naz, widow of Saeed Akhtar and to Nagina widow of Basit Mahmood in Orangi Town. He remained with the heirs for sometime and offered fateha for the departed souls.
