Site Council raises house rent allowance

The Site Town Council has approved 65 percent raise in the house rent allowance of its employees. The raise was allowed in the Council meeting held under the chairmanship of its Convenor and Naib Nazim Syed Badshah Khan. The Council also offered condolences on the sad demise of father of Dr Farooq Sattar, MNA and Deputy Convenor MQM Rabita Committee.
The Council passed a resolution, seeking opening of a utility store in UC-6 of the Town to provide relief to people suffering from continuous price spiralling. The Council members informed the chair about dilapidated condition of joint graveyard of UCs 4, 5 and 6 and called for improvement of its condition. The meeting approved the enhancement in NOC fee for CNG filling stations in the jurisdiction of Site Town.
