KARACHI: While there is a lot of emphasis in digitalizing of marketing, there aren’t many learning platforms available for marketing enthusiasts and business owners where they can get training on this relatively newer form of marketing.

To fill this gap and provide quality training in the field of digital marketing, Digital Eggheads (DE) conducted a two-day crash course named as Digital Ninja on the 20th and 21st of May 2017.

The course was attended by both entrepreneurs and individuals from corporate backgrounds – including Business Recorder (Aaj TV), Terrabiz Group, HBL, and Horeca Edge.

During the 2-day course, the participants were provided hands-on training on different important aspects of digital marketing including audience creation (buyer persona), reaching out to target audience on social media, tools for digital marketing offered by Google and Facebook, and overall methodology to create and achieve digital goals/objectives.

Talking about the course, Qudsia Pervez, Learning and Development Program Manager at HBL said, “There is a dire need for these type of certifications to be conducted more frequently and made part of our university curriculum. This course allowed me to explore and learn the principles of digital marketing in a very interactive way.” Another participant, Mr. Talha Shabbir, who is the Business Development Head at Terrabiz and an entrepreneur said, “The learnings from this course will help me in planning my digital media strategy and goals. This field requires more such practical sessions as a lot of us are not much aware of the potential in digital marketing”.

Digital Ninja - The Crash Course was 2nd of such initiative by the team of Digital Eggheads. The course is conducted by Facebook and Google certified trainer Mehdi KaramAli, who also is the Director Strategy at DE. Speaking on the need of initiating this course, the Project Manager for Digital Ninja, Zainab Rehman said, ”Working in this industry has given us a lot of insight over how people perceive digital – and most of the time they were missing out the potential of digital marketing. Our objective with Digital Ninja was to educate people about the extensive opportunities available to SMEs, agencies, and established brands on digital platforms.”

Digital Eggheads is a marketing and consultancy startup, operating since three years. They pride in being the first result oriented agency in Pakistan, specializing in working with SMEs.
