ISE index loses 24.82 points

Bears' assault moved the entire ready board in downward direction at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday where major players and investors offloaded their positions to avoid heavy losses amid decrease in index.
ISE-10 Index was down by 24.82 points from 3174.22 to 3149.40 points. The overall turnover stood at 1,024,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,113,600 shares. Total 141 companies participated in buying and selling activity.
Majority of stocks (122) closed in negative territory, 17 landed in positive territory, whereas two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 107,000 shares. The turnover of MCB Bank was 103,400 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 96,400 shares.
