The Election Commission of Pakistan would announce revised schedule of by-election on Wednesday in line with aspirations of people and political parties of the country, Secretary Election of Pakistan Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad said Tuesday.
Talking to Aaj he said the process of filing nomination papers were not yet completed. Revised schedule would be announced to enable the candidates to file their nomination papers.
Responding to a question he said nobody has pressurised the Election Commission of Pakistan on revising the schedule of by-election. ECP changed its decision on media reports. ECP is set to revise the decision keeping in view people's aspirations and on reservations of political parties as it valued them a lot.
He said NWFP ECP would be asked officially to send revised reference the same day. And the decision to revise the schedule of by-election would be taken the same day soon after the reference from NWFP.
