At least eight people were killed in different incidents in the city on Tuesday, police sources told Business Recorder. A ten-year-old boy, Faheem s/o Qasim fell into an open sewerage manhole in the jurisdiction of Haideri Police Station. The body of deceased was recovered later by the area people.
A recklessly driven truck, No 0154, hit a motorcyclist killing Saba, 17, D/o Manzoor Shah on the spot while severely injuring his brother, Rizwan. The police has registered an FIR of the accident and arrested the truck-driver Safdar.
In another case Shehzad alias Sona, 25, was shot dead by his friend Imran at Gulshan-e-Ghazi, Saeedabad area. Mochko Police has arrested killer and recovered a pistol from his possession.
Muhammad Tahir s/o Imam Bukhsh was killed in a clash between two groups occurred at Khadda Market area. The Chakiwara police registered an FIR of the incident. Kabir Ahmed, 50, committed suicide and shot himself dead in the jurisdiction of Nabi Bukhsh Police Station. While, a seven-day old decomposed body of an unknown woman was found at Khairabad area, Manghopir.
