The Karachi Port handled 144,077 tonnes cargo including 92,993 tonnes import, 51,084 tonnes export cargo and 3,810 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargoes comprised of 74,605 tonnes dry cargo including 51,974 tonnes general cargo; 22,631 tonnes Bulk Cargo and 69,472 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Nine ships namely Cape Negro, Csav Lonqubnay, Wan Hai-303, Great Summit, Laftah, MT Swat, Sea Bloom, Dion and Athanasios G Callitsis sailed out to sea during the report period. Seven vessels viz Nemtas-2, APL Jeddah, Sinar Bintan, Adrekni, Darya Raag, MT Johar and Kang Qiang are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely River Pride, Rhoneborg and Fortune Victoria expected to sail on Thursday, while four vessels viz Sea Princess, MT Johar, Tower Bridge and Sinar Bintan are expected to sail on Friday. Five vessels viz Stolt Markland, Conti Harmony, Hanjin Qingdao, St. Irene and Patton-1 due to arrive on Thursday, while another ship namely Hyundai Admiral is due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 73,995 tonnes comprising 65,367 tonnes import and 8,628 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,504 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 23,925 tonnes Furnace Oil; 3,273 tonnes Palm Oil; 13,145 tonnes Wheat; 630 tonnes General Cargo; 10,045 tonnes Iron Ore; 1,836 tonnes Cement; 279 tonnes Seeds and 20,862 tonnes containerised cargo. Five ships namely MV HS Acacia, MT Sinar Agra, ACX Dahia, Saudia Diriyah and MV OXL Victory sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
Two vessels viz MV Leopard-B and MV Industrial Bride are expected to sail on Thursday. A total of ten ships namely CMA CGM Eiffel, Merbabu, Al-Salam-II, Oversea Rein Mar, Arius, Raissa Ayu, Doris, Hallen, Tiran Island and Bernice carrying Containers, Crude Oil, Diesel Oil, Palm Oil and Cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Ten vessels viz CV ACX Dahlia, CV Saudi Diriyah, MV Leapord-B, MV Kestrel-1, MV HS Acacia, MV OXL Victory, Industrial Bride, MT Transport, MV Barcelona Bright and MT Sea Sky are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Wheat, General Cargo, Palm Oil, Iron Ore and Diesel Oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Three ships namely CV CMA CGM Eiffel, CV Dubai and MV Bernice are due to take berths at Containers Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Three ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano, MV Kaghan and MT Bengal Orchid with Containers, Iron Ore and Chemicals due to arrive on Friday, while another vessel viz CMA CGM Rose is due to arrive on Saturday. Two vessels viz Dubai and Normed Amsterdam with Containers and General Cargo are also due to arrive.
