The College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) is providing quality teaching and training facilities to doctors, said King Edward Medical University Vice Chancellor Professor Muhammad Zafarullah. He told the concluding ceremony of a workshop on "research methodology, bio-statistics, medical writing and FCPS Part-1 course" held at the college regional centre on Friday.
"CPSP is providing teaching and training of international standard to the specialist doctors and medical teachers." Professor Khan is the college senior fellow and was given fellowship by late General Zia Ul Haq in 1978. Presently he is an eminent physician and senior teacher in the province. He told participants to concentrate on latest research in the field of medicine. He mentioned his closed relationship with CPSP and assured full support of King Edward Medical University.
College Regional Director Professor Khalid Masood Gondal in his welcome address thanked the vice chancellor for his support and facilitation in post-graduate training and research. He said 1,300 doctors had been trained through different workshop in the past one year.
