Six people gunned down a woman, her young daughter and a son, over engagement issue, in a village Mitha Tiwana of District Khushab. According to police, Ghafoor and Zahoor, brothers of Safia, were against the engagement of their niece, Shaheen Kausar, with Mubashir.
Ghafoor and Zahoor, along with Munir, Fateh Sher, Ramzan and Tanveer went to Safia's house and opened indiscriminate firing there. As a result of firing, Safia, her daughter Shaheen Kausar and son Shahzad died on the spot. Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
