The tail-end growers of Dhubni Mine continued their protest demonstration against the shortage of irrigation water at tail-end of Dhubni Mine in front of Shah Latif Press Club. The growers were led by Muhammad Yaqoob Ahmedani, Tarique, Muhammad Yasin and Tayyab.
Addressing the newsmen, the leaders said that due to shortage of irrigation water their agricultural lands are being affected badly. They have demanded of the authorities for the regular supply of irrigation water. Meanwhile the growers have also appealed to the Speaker National Assembly, Dr Fahmida Mirza, and the Provincial Home Minister, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza to take notice of the matter and ensure supply of irrigation water.
