Australian High Commissioner Zorica McCarthy on Monday gave a certificate of the International Food Safety System to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in a ceremony at the Hospital. An Australian-based certification body QMS-CS gave the certificate on successful implementation of the International standard of Food Safety System at the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital.
The commissioner praised the hospital in providing facilities of international standard to the patients. She congratulated the Hospital management and assured her full co-operation to the hospital and QMS Certification services.
The QMS-Certification Services is an Australian international certification and training body operating in Pakistan headed by Engineer Khalid Mahmood. This company issues certificates of ISO-9000, 14000,18000, QMS-HACCP in accordance with respective international standards to the manufacturing and service organisations. It also provides services of training and inspection of machinery and equipment.
